MEET MARIA

Hi! I am a natural light photographer always chasing a sunset. I began photographing using film and it taught me to breath and really think for a second, before creating a photograph. In every session, I strive to create beautiful and emotional imagery to tell your story. I am truly inspired by love and laughter - especially laughter! We call Baltimore, Maryland our home for now but we are nomads at heart so we’re always looking for our next “perfect” destination.

I believe in creating portraits that make you feel. Images that stir up memories long forgotten. Those intimate moments captured forever on film and print.

I am an artist with a vision. I will listen to your vision and together, we will create something wonderful that is uniquely you.

I “feel” deeper than most. I am such a nostalgic at heart and I don’t hide it.

If there is one thing that truly fills my heart on any given day, is looking through old family photographs. Sifting through an old shoebox, opening an old battered album with tons of people I never met and asking my parents the same questions over and over again about the people in the pictures.

I am a dreamer, a nostalgic, and an adventurer…I also speak way too loud when I get excited, I cry when I laugh, I laugh while I’m trying to tell you something funny, and I dance in the shower to latin music - dance, not sing, because I can not, for the life of me, memorize the complete lyrics to any song!

I don’t drink more coffee just because I would literally never sleep, but I do enjoy a delicious cup of freshly brewed espresso or a big ‘ol cup of cappuccino…preferable in good company and good laughs.

I can’t get enough of a good sunset, but a sunrise just sets the right tone for the day! If only my duvet wasn’t that heavy and warm, maybe I’d get up and see more of those!

My husband and I love road-tripping! There is something about the endless drive that inspires us and gets us talking and dreaming about the future and planning our next adventure!

My dream life would be to travel the world year-round and live in Airbnb’s or quaint little boutique hotels all - preferably on a beautiful desolate beach. My guilty pleasure is swiping through those magical Airbnb images of far-away places and “hearting" them - so you can imagine how long my favorites list is.

You’d think I love being out of breath…well, I don’t, just like I don’t like the my sweaty t-shirt sticking to me, but the whole adventure of reaching the mountain top is an exhilarating feeling!

You had me at avocado. If I had to choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, that would be avocados - no doubt about it. I will pair it with everything or eat it alone. Fun fact: before getting pregnant with my first son, I was extremely allergic to them! My mouth would swell up! Thank goodness that’s an old ugly tale.
